1. Personal Information

  • A. When User registers with Book Club Net, User provides Korlex with certain personal information, such as User's email address. User may also choose to provide Korlex with User's name. Korlex collects browser type and IP address from all visitors.
    If User chooses 'Remember me' option for remembering user name and password Korlex will use cookies (small text files stored on your computer).
  • B. If you choose to invite a friend to join a book club, view parts of your book club, or view your ratings and comments, Korlex will ask you for your friend's email address needed to send the invitation. Korlex will automatically send your friend an invitational email. Korlex stores this information to send this invitation, and to register a friend if your invitation is accepted.

    • 2. User Content

  • A. User posts user Content, as defined in the Agreement 1.A. at User's own risk. Korlex does not guarantee that the Content User posts on the Service will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. Korlex is not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings. User acknowledges that, even after removal, copies of the Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored the Content.
  • B. Any Content User posts is visible to all book club members. If User belongs to a book club of type 'Share with friends' such Content will be visible to all book club members and invited friends. If User belongs to a book club of type 'Open with anyone' the Content is visible to anyone on Internet.

    • 2. Security

  • A. User is responsible for keeping the password confidential.
  • B. Korlex takes appropriate measures to protect User's information.

    • 3. Use of Information

  • A. We only use personal information for purposes collected.
  • B. We will disclose User's personal information if required by law.

    • 4. Accessing, changing or removing personal information

  • A. User can access and change personal information through User account. To disable User's account and remove User's personal information contact us at contact@bookcl.net .
